On March 17, 2026, the members of the Dean’s List from the Law Faculty of Leibniz Universität Hannover set out for a visit to Bahlsen GmbH & Co. KG.
Our excursion began at 9:00 AM with a warm welcome, followed by an introduction to the company during a building tour. In the process, we learned about the historical features of the administration building.
After the building tour, we first went to the open-plan office of the legal department and got to know the staff there. Afterwards, we went together to a conference room, where we listened to exciting lectures about the activities of the legal department.
Furthermore, we were informed about the possibility of carrying out and the process of the elective period at Bahlsen and gained insights into the typical tasks as a legal trainee at Bahlsen.
The event concluded with a joint lunch and a final exchange in the meeting room.
In summary, the visit to Bahlsen gave us the opportunity to better understand the of a corporate lawyer and to discover another exciting field of activity in addition to classical legal professions.
The members of the Dean’s List and the team of JurSERVICE thank Bahlsen GmbH & Co. KG and especially Dr. Marc Zimmermann for organizing and providing valuable insights into the company's work. We look forward to future events and excursions of this kind.
