The Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) is currently conducting a nationwide survey among students of law faculties, capturing student satisfaction.
For this round of the student survey, all students in the 3rd to 12th semester of the Law Studies (State Examination) program were selected. At the beginning of December, they received an email from our university’s administration with online access to the student survey questionnaire. The emails are sent "anonymously" by Leibniz University Hannover, as each email contains an individual password, meaning CHE does not know your name or address. The emails do not contain questionnaires but rather a randomly assigned access to the online questionnaire of CHE through individual passwords.
Those students belonging to the aforementioned group who have received the mentioned access are warmly invited to participate in the survey and evaluate the questionnaire honestly and fairly. The results also benefit the further development of the faculty and its offerings. Future students will also benefit from your experiences shared through your participation in the survey when choosing their studies.
Participation in the survey is possible until February 8, 2026.
Results
The results of these surveys will be published in early May 2026 in the ZEIT Study Guide as well as online at www.ranking.zeit.de (Here, you can also access results from previous years).
About the CHE University Ranking
The basic idea of the CHE University Ranking is that different criteria are important to each prospective student when choosing the right university. While some are drawn to large universities with top-notch research, others feel more comfortable at a small university with many internships in the area. Only those who can choose from a wealth of information and compare it according to their criteria can make a good choice. Conversely, the quality of a study program cannot be determined by numbers, data, and facts alone. Those who can assess the quality of a study program authentically and fairly are those currently studying it.
For over 20 years, the CHE University Ranking has been providing prospective students with assistance in selecting the right field of study. The results for around 35 subjects that can be studied in Germany are updated every three years in rotation.
This year, the field of law is once again in focus. More than 100,000 students have shared their opinions for the current CHE University Ranking to help future students in their decision-making.
