Not only science needs publicity—teaching must also be publicly visible. Only those who can choose from a rich and broad range of learning opportunities can optimally inform, prepare, and review themselves. Allowing public discourse on learning and teaching opinions enables multifaceted teaching with student participation. The goal of the student journal Hanover Law Review (HanLR) is to contribute to the existing learning opportunities and platforms for discourse.

Since the end of October the Issue 3/25 of the HanLR is now available online! In the third quarterly issue of this year, there are eleven articles and an overview of case law for each of the three major areas of law. With about 72 pages of content, the HanLR continues this ambitious student project.

You can access the online version of the issue here.

About Hanover Law Review e.V.

The Hanover Law Review is the legal education journal of Leibniz University Hannover. Under the motto “Learning, Teaching & Publishing,” students from all semesters have been working since 2017 on creating and distributing the free journal, giving their fellow students the opportunity to gain early experience in publishing their own articles. The journal is available in libraries throughout Germany and is also accessible online.

Every Sunday, the “Decision of the Week” features a short commentary on a court decision relevant to legal education. For this commitment and its quality, HanLR was awarded the Lower Saxony Science Prize in 2019.
