This year, academic elections will also be conducted online. The election period for this semester begins on January 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM and ends on January 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Below, we have summarized the most important information for you:

Who is being elected?

You have the opportunity to vote for the members of the Student Council and the Student Department Councils, as well as the representation of all groups in the Senate and the Faculty Councils in the winter semester 2025/2026.

Student Elections

The candidates standing for election to the Student Council and the Student Department Councils have been announced by the Election Office in Circular No. 53/2025. Any amendments and corrections can be found here.

Academic Elections

The candidates standing for election to the mentioned bodies have been announced by the Election Office in Circular No. 52/2025.

How is the election carried out?

This year, the election will once again follow the principle of personalized proportional representation. Due to the list election, each voter has only one vote. If multiple votes are cast, the vote will be deemed invalid.

The elections are conducted in cooperation with the POLYAS online voting system. Voting is possible from any computer that is connected to the online voting portal via the internet. You log in using your WebSSO credentials (the same as for Stud.IP).

After successfully logging in and registering in the voter directory, you will be redirected to the actual vote. There, you can cast your vote as usual by checking a candidate. You will then receive an overview of the votes you have cast and can edit or finalize your choices.

A detailed voting guide can be found here.

Where is the voting conducted?
