Registration deadlines for minor subject courses, key qualifications and legal languages in the summer semester 2025/26

Business and Social Science Auxiliary Subject Courses

In the winter semester 2025/26, courses for obtaining the social or business science certificate, which is required for admission to the compulsory examination according to § 4 Abs. 1 Nr. 1 lit. e) NJAG, will again be offered.

Registration for all courses is possible. However, students can only obtain a place in one of the courses. Students who miss a course without an excuse will be banned from the next round.

Further Courses for Key Qualification

Participants of the Legal Clinic can have their participation credited as a key qualification. Further information about the Legal Clinic can be found here.

The same applies to the Fairy Tale Moot Court. Applications are possible until October 15, 2025.

Legal Languages

Additionally, in this summer semester, courses for acquiring the foreign language certificate according to § 4 Abs. 1 Nr. 1 lit. d) NJAG iVm. § 7 StudO will be offered again. An overview of all offered courses can be found in the course catalog under "Legal Languages".

To acquire the certificate, a written exam or paper or an oral presentation must be completed in the foreign language, demonstrating the necessary expressive ability in the foreign language (§ 7 Abs. 2 S. 2 StudO). Please also note the information on performance verification in the respective courses at Stud.IP.
