As in every year, JurSERVICE is once again offering the lecture "How to Write a Term Paper" and the workshop "Writing Term Papers Correctly" this semester.
Writing term papers is not taught as a separate event during studies. In order to provide support to especially young students who have not yet gained experience in writing term papers and to avoid potential errors in future term papers, the lecture "How to Write a Term Paper" and a workshop titled "Writing Term Papers Correctly" are being offered.
The lecture is mainly focused on conveying fundamentals and important principles regarding term papers.
In addition, the workshop aims to build on the content of the lecture in a practical manner and help internalize how to avoid formal errors. Furthermore, it imparts key insights that are most important for correctors when evaluating term papers. The main focus is on working on exercises related to citation styles, research, and formalities. Students will also take on the of correctors themselves. This independent work ensures a varied workshop and provides students with a solid foundation to develop a (new) approach to writing term papers.
