Starting October 1, 2025, the Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB) at the Conti-Campus, Science/Engineering, and Social Sciences locations will have revised opening and service hours.
The reason for this change is that the previous opening hours were largely funded by so-called study quality funds. These are additional funds provided to universities to enhance study and teaching. With the decline in student numbers, the amount of these funds also decreases, which is why the Presidium of Leibniz Universität Hannover, in consultation with the TIB, has decided on the new opening and service hours.
The new opening and service hours at the Conti-Campus location:

- Checkout and Registration at the two locations, TIB Conti-Campus and TIB Science/Engineering, will continue to be staffed from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 8 PM and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM.
- The Information Desk will be staffed at the two locations, TIB Conti-Campus and TIB Science/Engineering, from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM.
