Constitutional and administrative law without frontiers
As part of a special event, a guest lecture on the topic “Constitutional and Administrative Law Without Frontiers” will take place on 18, 19 and 22 June 2026. Professor Vasco Pereira da Silva from the University of Lisbon will be the speaker.

About the Lecture
Following a theoretical introduction to the fundamentals of a cross-border understanding of constitutional and administrative law, the guest lecture will examine current influences on constitutional and administrative law from this perspective. In particular, it will address issues related to digitalization and artificial intelligence. Another thematic focus will be on environmental and climate law.
The guest lecture thus offers participants the opportunity to engage deeply with current and global issues in constitutional and administrative law.
About the Lecturer
Professor Vasco Pereira da Silva is a professor of law at the University of Lisbon and invited full professor at the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP). He has taught as a visiting professor at numerous international universities, including Leibniz University Hannover. In 2018, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by Leibniz University Hannover. Professor Pereira da Silva has published extensively on administrative law, constitutional law, and environmental law, has given lectures worldwide, and serves, among other roles, as president of the ELPIS network.
